Concert ticket/memory book

I have almost 30 years of concert tickets, photos, and memorabilia floating around my apartment and finally made my first of many scrapbooks/journal/smash books for all of these great events I've experienced. I used DCWV  ROCK STAR stack, chipboard elements, stickers, bling, Vellum Quote Stack. I love that stack since I am a rocker chick at heart. Now I want to go through all the tickets I do have and match the information like newspaper clippings, set lists, photos and journal my memories before I start sticking/smashing all of this into my book. This will take a while since I have long lost count of how many shows I have seen and I do not have all of my ticket from every show either. 

This Weekend

Been busy re-organizing part of my scrapbook area. I live in a one bedroom apartment and my craft area is in my dining room and I'm always trying to get the most of the small space. Also, I am a messy crafter...lol!!! I still need a better way to store my 12x12 cardstock/paper....its in a cabinet right now and I don't like having to reach down and drag all of the papers out so i can see them in good lighting(and remember what I have). It raises my pain level also and then I hurt to much to craft so I am in search of a better more accessible  place for my paper.


This weekend I hope to work on my Twilight/gothic inspired book/journal. It is taking me a lot longer than I thought-I just cannot get my mind wrapped around exactly what I want to do with it. I love the papers in the Immortal Love from DCWV paper stack and now with the Cricut Fancy Frames and Ornamental Iron 2 just released I may wait until I purchase them to finish the book. to be continued.....

I have a best friend that we call Hula Girl and this was made for her birthday. I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the card:-(  She is so full of life and loves the sun and fun so this card fit her perfectly. 

Thank You Card For My Parents

On May 26, 2011 I lost my beloved 13 year old American Pit Bull Terrier, Apollo. He and I have been Inseparable since his birth-which I was blessed to witness. I do not have any children so my dogs are my babies. My parents spent a lot of time, energy and money to keep Apollo alive and comfortable until the very end and this card was made to thank them.

My very first challenge.

I am trying a challenge for FCCB. I hope I post this correctly. I made a door hanging for the Summer and it fits the criteria for the #65 Summer Sun. I need to research how to take better photos. This one seems dark and fuzzy to me. I hope everyone enjoys my creation. I used Create A Critter And Life Is A Beach Carts.
